Late on Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned Fox News that if Washington, its primary military sponsor, stopped backing Ukraine, Ukraine would lose the war.
“What is most important is unity between Ukraine and the United States,” the Ukrainian leader stated, adding that it would be “very dangerous if we lose unity in Europe.”
Donald Trump, the US president-elect, ran on a platform of using taxpayer dollars to better the lives of Americans rather than continuing US engagement in conflicts.
He has stated that he will resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in a day, although he has not specified how.
Zelensky told Fox News, “I think we will lose if they cut.”
“Of course anyway we will stay, we will fight, we have our production but it is not enough to prevail and it think it is not enough to survive.”
“It will not be simple, but yes, he can because he is stronger than Putin.” “Putin is weaker than the United States,” Zelensky said in response to a question on whether Trump will be able to persuade Putin to cease the war. The president of the United States can lower the price of energy resources since he has the power, strength, and weapons.
Kyiv’s onslaught has been driven back by Russian forces, causing Ukraine’s unexpected advance into Russia’s Kursk region to falter.
Additionally, Zelensky was critical of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for his phone conversation with Putin last week.
He told Fox News it was a “Pandora’s box” since Putin would be under more pressure if he were isolated.
