Giving and receiving gifts from loved ones is a major aspect of the holiday season, but some people would prefer to let others wrap their presents.
Nifty Package Co.’s founder, Michelle Hensley, saw that as a chance. She began a mobile gift wrapping business in 2015, picking up presents from her customers and returning them elegantly wrapped.
Hensley’s side gig turned into a full-fledged business since her clientele appreciated her service so much. Hensley has earned the trust of celebrities like Justin Bieber and major clients like Warner Bros. by creating gourmet gift baskets in addition to luxury gift wrapping. That proves that you can never predict the future of a seasonal side gig.
You might provide your local community with this service if you are skilled at wrapping gifts.
Another important aspect of holiday gatherings that individuals don’t always want to perform themselves is food catering. From mid-November until the final week of December, caterer and “Come On Over” web series host Christine Schaub reports that her services are much sought for.
“Four-course meals served with wines and beverages are my team’s specialty. In order for the hosts to enjoy their own party—possibly for the first time ever—we shop, set up, cook, serve, and clean up,” Schaub explains.
The holidays might be an excellent opportunity to test and refine your market if people tell you that your baking or cooking abilities are excellent.
